Anonymous. 280-276 BC. AR Didrachm (7.41 g, 1h). Metapontum(?) mint. Helmeted head of Mars left; oak-spray behind / Horse’s head right on base inscribed ROMANO; stalk of grain behind. Crawford 13/1; Burnett 10 (OB/R8); Sydenham 1; RSC 4. VF, wonderful gray cabinet toning, light scratches and minor marks under tone. Excellent silver quality.
