Brutus. 42 BC. AR Denarius (3.93 g, 12h). Military mint traveling with Brutus in Lycia. Head of Libertas right / Plectrum (or quiver), lyre, and branch tied with fillet. Crawford 501/1; CRI 199; Sydenham 1287; RSC 5. VF, deep gray toning, colorful iridescent hues on reverse, hairline flan crack, usual weak strike on obverse, struck slightly off center. Rare.
