Plain-shanked bone hair pin surmounted by three-dimensional bust of woman set on beed-and-reel base, wearing elaborate Flavian-style coiffure. Overall length 128mm. Choice condition with typical wear from use, fine mellow patina with traces of encrustation. Rare.
