Antoninus Pius. AD 138-161. Æ Sestertius (35mm, 31.11 g). Rome mint. Struck AD 143-144. Laureate head right / Fides standing right, holding grain ears and basket of fruit. RIC III 716a; BMCRE 1608; Cohen 426. VF, green and brown surfaces, broad medallic flan, some roughness. Pius was acclaimed imperator for the second time following the victory of Q. Lollius Urbicus over the Brigantes in Britain, and the construction of the Antonine Wall.
