KAV LONIAT [AN], Apollo advancing right, holding laurel branch; ivy leaf above Apollo's outstretched arm, to left, octopus, to right, stag standing right / Stag standing right; to right, ivy-leaf. Noe, Caulonia Group I, 141; HN Italy 2055; McClean 1616 (same dies). VF, toned.

Noe remarks that of the known specimens from this obverse die, none show the beginning of the obverse inscription. This coin is perhaps the only known specimen to show this part of the ethnic.
