Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust right; E (denomination) in right field / Athena standing right, holding spear, facing Demeter standing left, holding torch, jointly sacrificing over altar between them; above, pomegranate. The reverse type was orginally a homonoia- “alliance” type for Side and Perga under Gordian III. See SNG France 859. This unrecorded variety keeps the main type but bears a standard Side legend.
