INDIA, Kushan Empire. Huvishka. Circa AD 152-192. “AV” Dinar (21mm, 5.35 g). Contemporary imitation. Crowned and diademed half length bust left on clouds, holding mace scepter and sword hilt / Lunar god Mao, nimbate, standing right, holding scepter over shoulder; tamgha to right. Cf. KM 146. VF, heavy scratches. It appears a layer of gold plating has been scraped off, revealing the baser metal core.
