CELTIC, Lower Danube. Uncertain tribe. Circa 100 BC. AR Drachm (1.86 g, 10h). Imitating Alexander or Philip III of Macedon. Devolved head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Devolved Zeus Nikephoros seated left; amphora in left field. Cf. Lanz 897; cf. CCCBM I 217; KMW 1464. Good VF, lightly toned, minor porosity.
