LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 400-340 BC. AR Nomos (7.71 g, 6h). Head of Demeter right, hair bound in topknot / Barley ear of seven grains, leaf to left; palmette above leaf. Noe 480 (same dies); HN Italy 1540; SNG ANS 363 (same dies); SNG Lockett 399 (same dies). Good VF, toned, minor flat strike in centers. Struck from dies of fine style.
