BRUTTIUM, Kaulonia. Circa 500-480 BC. AR Diobol (0.73 g). Triskeles; pellet between each leg and in center / KAVL around two pellets. Cf. Noe 206 = Traité I 2186 = BMC 16; cf. HN Italy 2042. VF, toned. Extremely rare, possibly the second known with four-letter ethnic (see Leu 65, lot 61 for the other).
