SICILY, Syracuse. Hieron II. 275-215 BC. Æ Hemilitron (16.66 g, 3h). Struck circa 240-218 BC. Diademed head left / Hieron, holding spear, on horse prancing right; uncertain monogram below horse. Cf. CCO pl. XLII, 12-17; cf. CNS 195 R1; SNG ANS 961-2. Good VF, olive green patina.
