ISLANDS off THRACE, Thasos. Circa 411-340 BC. AR Drachm (3.85 g, 6h). Bearded head of Dionysos left, wearing wreath of ivy with berries / Herakles, wearing lion skin, kneeling right, drawing bow; kantharos to right; all within linear square in shallow square incuse. Le Rider, Thasiennes 19; SNG Copenhagen 1024 var. (symbol). Good VF, toned. Exceptional for issue.
