THESSALY, Phakion. 3rd century BC. Æ 20mm (5.27 g, 1h). Wreathed head of nymph right, wearing earring / Horseman, raising hand, riding right. Papaevangelou group I, 7 (O4/R7); Rogers 445; SNG Copenhagen -. Good VF, dark brown patina. Exceptional for issue. Very rare, Papaevangelou located only 42 examples of all coins of Phakion.
