ISLANDS off ATTICA, Aegina. Circa 525/0-500 BC. AR Hemidrachm (2.75 g). Sea turtle with ‘T-pattern’ shell with thin collar / “Union Jack” incuse pattern with eight segments, some of which are filled-in. Milbank -; Selinus Hoard 122; SNG Copenhagen -; Dewing 1665. VF, lightly toned, rough on reverse, granular surfaces on obverse. Very rare early fraction.
