THRACE, Pautalia. Clodius Albinus. As Caesar, AD 193-195. Æ Pentassarion (8.61 g, 6h). Bare-headed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Coiled serpent right, feeding off of altar; to left, grain ear. Cf. Ruzica 441 (for obv.); SNG Copenhagen -; Varbanov 2970 (same obv. die). Good VF, green patina with areas of red-brown. Very rare.
