Helmeted and draped bust of Mars right; mark of value behind / Oath-taking scene: Youth kneeling left, looking right between two soldiers, each of whom holds a spear and touches with his sword a pig held by the youth. Crawford 234/1; Sydenham 527; Veturia 1. EF, attractive gray toning with blue and gold iridescence, traces of deposits on reverse. Well struck for this issue.
