Julius Caesar. 46 BC. AR Denarius (3.90 g, 11h). Utica(?) mint. Head of Ceres right, wearing wreath of barley / Simpulum, sprinkler, capis and lituus; M (Munus = gift) in right field. Crawford 467/1b; CRI 57a; Sydenham 1024; RSC 4. Near EF, deeply toned, a few faint cleaning scratches beneath tone.
