Octavian and Divus Julius Caesar. 38 BC. Æ Sestertius (or Dupondius?) (20.51 g, 9h). Southern Italian(?) mint. Bare head of Octavian right, wearing slight beard / Head of Divus Julius right, wearing wreath. Crawford 535/1; Alföldi & Giard 1 (D1/R1); RPC I 620; CRI 308; Sydenham 1335. Good VF, green patina with scattered small areas of brick-red, a little rough in places. Exceptional portraits.
