Hadrian. AD 117-138. AR Denarius (2.89 g, 1h). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 134-138. Laureate head right / Quinquereme with five oarsmen left, hortator at stern. RIC II 240; RSC 712. Good VF, deep mauve-gray toning, areas of micro-granularity, a few faint scratches beneath tone, hairline flan crack.
