Julia Domna. Augusta, AD 193-217. Æ Sestertius (23.33 g, 7h). Rome mint. Struck under Caracalla, AD 211-215. Diademed and draped bust right / Juno standing left, holding patera and scepter; at feet to left, peacock standing left, head reverted. RIC IV 585a (Caracalla); Banti 22 var. (peacock head not reverted). Good VF, attractive green patina, light gray earthen highlights. Wonderful portrait.
