LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 400-340 BC. AR Nomos (7.80 g, 12h). Head of Demeter left, hair bound in sphendone, barley grain at forehead; poppy seed [and TPO] behind / Barley ear with leaf to right; laurel leaf to right. Noe 467d = BMC 120 (this coin); HN Italy 1525. VF, toned, minor porosity. Rare.
