CRETE, Phaistos. Circa 300-270 BC. AR Stater (11.07 g, 1h). Herakles standing left, lion skin draped over arm, striking at Hydra with club; crab between feet / Bull advancing right. Svoronos, Numismatique 59; SNG Copenhagen -; BMC 11; Le Rider, Crétoises, pl. XXIII, 22 (same dies). VF, toned, fields smoothed, minor delamination on obverse. Rare.
