Le Rider identified two varieties of drachms at Antioch, both having the same types but different control markings. In contrast to the Antiochene tetradrachms, these drachm issues must have been rather limited, as each has only one obverse die. Moreover, Le Rider found only eight specimens total of either variety, and the present coin is the third, and finest of its particular variety.
