Trajan. AD 98-117. AR Denarius (19mm, 2.15 g). Ancient imitation. Laureate head right / Trajan standing facing holding spear and shield. Near VF, light scratches on the obverse.

The attribution to Trajan as the prototype for this issue is purely conjectural as the legends on both sides are completely degraded, and the protrait doesn’t really resemble anyone in particular.
