KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III ‘the Great’. 336-323 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.75 g, 12h). Uncertain mint. Struck 3rd century BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin headdress / ALEXANDROU, Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; caduceus in left field. Unpublished. Near EF, lightly toned, a couple minor die breaks. Good metal. Possibly an imitative issue.
