EPEIROS, The Athamanes. Circa 220-185 BC. Æ 17mm (3.89 g, 6h). Veiled head of Dione right, wearing stephane / AQA-MANWN, Athena standing left, holding owl in extended right hand, spear in left. Franke 22 (V19/R21); cf. SNG Copenhagen 39 (later issue); BMC 3; SNG Aberdeen 182 (same dies). EF, dark green patina. Very rare.
