LAKONIA, Lakedaimon (Sparta). Circa 90-60/50 BC. AR Triobol (2.32 g, 10h). Bearded head of Herakles right, wearing pearl diadem / Amphora, decorated with snake; flanked by
L-A below pilei of the Dioskouroi; KI to lower left,
P to lower right. Grunauer group VIII, series 10, 38-49 (uncertain dies); BCD Peloponnesos 866; SNG Copenhagen 561; BMC 10. Good VF, darkly toned, a couple minor flat spots. Good metal for issue.
