LESBOS, Mytilene. Circa 478-455 BC. EL Hekte (2.54 g, 6h). Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin headdress / Incuse head of bull right. Bodenstedt Em. 29 (dies c/d); SNG Copenhagen -; SNG von Aulock 1692; Traité II 2145; BMC 26 (same dies). Good VF, toned. Well centered and struck from dies of fine style. Very rare, only nine examples recorded by Bodenstedt.
