IONIA, Ephesos. Phanes. Circa 625-600 BC. EL 1/24 Stater (0.56 g). Forepart of stag left, head reverted; three pellets to left / Incuse square punch with raised lines within. Triton X, 287; Triton VIII, 405; CNG 69, 390; otherwise unpublished. VF. Extremely rare, the fourth known 1/24 stater with pellets on obverse.
