ISLANDS off IONIA, Samos. Circa 485/0-478/7 BC. AR Tetradrachm (12.52 g, 3h). Facing lion scalp / SA, head of ox right; three pellets around; all in incuse square. Barron, Silver, class II (unlisted dies); SNG Copenhagen -; BMC -; Jameson 1524 var. (no pellets). Good VF, toned, a couple light scratches under tone, reverse weakly struck. Very rare.
