Head of Mars right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet [decorated with a griffin] / ROMA, horse head right, wearing bridle, bit, and reins; sickle behind. Crawford 25/1; Sydenham 24; Kestner 47; BMCRR Romano-Campanian 57-60; RSC 34. Good VF, mauve-gray toning, traces of iridescence and areas of trivial porosity on reverse, a few faint hairlines.
