Octavian. 30-29 BC. AV Aureus (7.29 g, 7h). Italian (Rome?) mint. Bare head right / IMP CAESAR across field, Victory standing facing, head left, on globe, with wings spread, holding wreath in right hand and vexillum in left over left shoulder. RIC I 268; CRI 417; Calicó 205; BMCRE 622-3 = BMCRR Rome 4356-7; BN 85-6. Near EF, minor surface roughness. Artistic dies.
