RIC I 492; Sutherland Group IVa, - (O1/R- [unlisted rev. die]); RSC 31; RPC I 2210; BMCRE 702 = BMCRR East 290; BN 954. Good VF, toned. Very rare.


The sphinx was well known as the device on Augustus' signet ring.
