Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Denarius (3.74 g, 7h). Spanish mint - Tarraco. Struck circa 19 BC. CAESAR AVGVSTVS, bare head right / S • P Q • R across field, Victory standing facing, holding before her with both hands a shield inscribed [CL •] V. RIC I -; RSC -; BMCRE -; BN 1128 (same dies). VF, reverse struck a little off center. Extremely rare, a type missing from most collections.
