CAESAR AVGVSTVS, bare head right / SIGNIS above, RECEPTIS below, S P Q R around, round shield inscribed CL • V; aquila and signum flanking. RIC I 85a; Calicó 274a (this coin illustrated); BMCRE 416 = BMCRR Rome 4396; BN 1130. Superb EF, lustrous, small “owner’s mark” in exergue on reverse.
