Augustus, with Agrippa. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Denarius (3.72 g, 8h). Rome mint. C. Sulpicius Platorinus, moneyer. Struck 13 BC. [CAESAR] AVGVSTVS, bare head of Augustus right / M. AGRIPPA PLATORINVS. III. [VIR], bare head of Agrippa right. RIC I 408; RSC 3; BMCRE 112-114; BN 533-535. Good VF, toned, areas of minor porosity, slightly flat strike on highest relief of Agrippa’s head, obverse struck off center. Exceptional for this rare issue.
