SOLA BONA QUAE HONESTA ANNO 1681, crowned monogram within laurel wreath surrounded by 15 crowned coats of arms; R B (mintmaster’s initials) flanking monogram below; 3 stamped below / Horse leaping left; above, arm holding laurel wreath reaching from the clouds; in background, scene of countryside; below, mining scene. Welter 1923, Davenport 238. Good VF, toned, edges smoothed at 3:00 and 9:00, likely removed from mount.
