ЦPЬ • ΠETPЪ • AЛEξIEBИЧЪ • B : P : П :, laureate, draped, and armored bust right; ribbon in hair; trace of H on arm truncation / MOCKBOCKИI P(OУ)БЛЬ, crowned double-headed imperial eagle facing with wings displayed, holding scepter and orb; above, imperial crown; (trefoil) (year symbol) AΨЗ (trefoil) (OCS date) flanking tail. Plain edge. Bitkin 184; Severin 230; Uzdenikov 506. AU 55, deeply toned about mint state and hints of blue-green iridescence on reverse. Bitkin states that only 50-100 specimens of this date exist, and this is surely one of the finest.
