Dated 1731/0. • Б • M • AHHA • IMПEPATPIЦA • ICAMOДEPЖEЦA • BCEPOCICKAЯ, crowned and cuirassed bust right; no brooch on breast / MOHETA P(OУ)БЛЬ 1731/0, crowned double-headed imperial eagle facing with wings displayed, holding scepter and orb; coat-of-arms of Moskva framed by Order of St. Andrei Первозванного (the First Called) on breast; above, imperial crown. On edge: chain stitch. Bitkin 33; cf. Severin 1060; cf. Uzdenikov 700. NGC photo graded MS 62, in very high relief and an extraordinary example with very nice original patina and lovely fields. Uncirculated. A unique type for 1731, as it has no brooch on her dress. Bitkin gives this date a Rarity 1.
