OTKPЫTЬ 26 ABГУС. 1839 Г., 1½ PУБЛЯ in exergue, Monument to the Russian Dead at Borodino: octagonal column, surmounted by gilded angled sphere and cross, set on Gothic-style octagonal pedestal; all set on three-tiered base. Grained edge. Bitkin 893; Severin 3307; Uzdenikov 4191. NGC photo graded MS 63, wonderfully toned iridescent color over fully proof-like fields. A choice uncirculated piece originally bought as a proof by its prior owner. Very rare.
