SICILY, Syracuse. Dionysios I. 405-367 BC. Æ Hemilitron (3.99 g, 1h). Obverse die signed by the artist E(umenes). Struck circa 405-400 BC. Head of Arethusa left, hair in sphendone signed E on the front / Wheel of four spokes; dolphins in lower quarters. Cf. Boehringer, Münzprägungen pl. III, 25; CNS 19 fr 3; Favorito type 75 (c. 425-420 BC); SNG ANS -. Good VF, dark green patina. Rare.
