SICILY, Syracuse. Second Democracy. 466-405 BC. AR Tetradrachm (17.34 g, 11h). Reverse die signed by Parme(nides). Struck circa 415-405 BC. Charioteer driving fast quadriga left; above, Nike flying right, crowning charioteer; grain ear in exergue / Head of Arethusa left, hair in sakkos; three dolphins around, Π and signature ΠAPME below. Kreutzer Ib, 17 (this coin); Tudeer 77 (V27/R49); SNG ANS 287; SNG Lockett 976; SNG Ashmolean 203; SNG München 1065; Boston MFA 416; Jameson 836 (all from the same dies). Good VF, lightly toned, struck from worn obverse die, light scuff on cheek.

None of the references mention the extra Π that appears before the signature on the reverse, but it is clearly there in all of their illustrations.
