BOEOTIA, Thebes. Circa 395-338 BC. AR Stater (12.22 g). Charo-, magistrate. Struck circa 379-368 BC. Boeotian shield / Amphora; ivy wreaths with berries in upper fields, YA-RO across field; all within incuse concave circle. Hepworth 95 (same rev. die as illustration); BCD Boiotia 509 (same rev. die). EF, usual small die breaks on obverse. Wonderful reverse from a fresh die.
