BOEOTIA, Thebes. Circa 395-338 BC. AR Stater (12.21 g). Aso(p)-, magistrate. Struck circa 363-338 BC. Boeotian shield / Amphora; club left above, A-Σ/Ω in two lines across field, grape bunch to lower right; all within incuse concave circle. Hepworth 16 (same rev. die as illustration); BCD Boiotia 580 (this coin). VF, lightly toned, underlying luster. Extremely rare variety with club, only one example noted in Hepworth.
