AEOLIS, Kyme. Circa 165-140 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.51 g, 12h). Stephanophoric type. Herakleides, magistrate. Head of the Amazon Kyme right, wearing taenia / Horse prancing right; one-handled cup below, eagle standing on thunderbolt below raised foreleg, HPAKΛEIΔHΣ in exergue; all within wreath. Oakley obv. die 64; SNG Copenhagen 105 (same obv. die). EF, toned, areas of slight roughness. Rare issue, only two obverse dies known to Oakley.
