MYSIA, Parium. Aemilian. AD 253. Æ 21mm (4.58 g, 12h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Triumphal arch consisting of large central bay with attic, flanked by two secondary bays; central bay surmounted by triumphal quadriga; each secondary bay surmounted by figure set on low basis. SNG France -; cf. Imhoof-Blumer, KM 4-5 (Cornelia Supera); A. Boutkowski-Glinka, “Monnaies grecques inédites,” NumCirc I.3 (February 1893), p. 79, 7; V.C. Vecchi 11, lot 421(same dies). VF, green and brown patina, light overall roughness, struck on slightly irregular flan. Extremely rare.
