Octavian. 32-31 BC. AR Denarius (3.99 g, 5h). Italian (Rome?) mint. Bare head right / Venus standing right, holding scepter and helmet, resting on column; on left, shield with star motif set on ground, leaning against column. RIC I 250a; CRI 395; RSC 62. Good VF, toned, area of flat strike on the obverse and corresponding reverse, edge test cut.
