Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Denarius (3.90 g, 11h). Rome mint. L. Aquillius Florus, moneyer. Struck 19/8 BC. Helmeted and draped bust of Virtus right / Armenian kneeling right, extending both hands in attitude of submission. RIC I 306; RSC 360. VF, deep gray and iridescent toning, a couple of minor bankers’ marks and a few shallow scratches beneath tone on obverse.
