Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Fourrée Denarius (2.98 g, 4h). Imitating Rome mint issue of moneyer C. Marius C.f. Tro(mentina tribu), 13 BC. Bare head right; lituus behind / Bare heads right of Lucius, Julia, and Caius; wreath above Julia. For prototype, cf. RIC I 404; cf. RSC 2 (Caius, Lucius, Julia, and Augustus). Near VF, toned, breaks in plating reveal toned copper core, scattered marks. Very rare.
