Divus Augustus. Died AD 14. Æ Dupondius (15.52 g, 7h). Rome mint. Struck under Gaius (Caligula), AD 37-41. Radiate head of Augustus left / Augustus(?) seated left on curule chair, holding branch. RIC I 56 (Gaius). Near EF, attractive, red-brown and green patina. Well struck for issue.
